The 30% ad fee is here, but there’s a way to avoid it

Paying for ads through your iOS devices?

You might want to give that up: As of today, July 1, Apple is planning to expand its 30% Facebook and Instagram ad fee to iOS.

Apple claims it’s a fair compensation for its platform, but pretty much everyone else disagrees.

What you can do: Paying for ads on your desktop web browsers will allow you to bypass the extra charge.

And luckily, Meta has updated its web functionality to keep up with its mobile apps, which makes things a little easier.
