Shopify drops 150+ new tools and teams up with a retail giant

Shopify has been busy. And it’s only Tuesday!

Up first, new tools: Shopify just gave merchants access to its Sidekick assistant. It answers questions and dishes tips on what customers are up to.

You’ll also find a new image-generation tool that lets you create media for ads and emails while using your phone, not just your computer.

Overall, Shopify has made over 150 tweaks. You might want to read up on them if you’re using the platform.

Also, it’s getting some extra help: Target is teaming up with Shopify.

Shopify will share popular products with Target for its customers to buy.

… And small businesses using the platform will be able to sell merchandise on Target’s website, Target Plus.

That’s right—your products could appear on Target’s online marketplace.

Sounds like a good match to us.
